Design / Project Management

Kindly Join
the Fight
In these tumultuous times, and in an even more self-centric world, genuine acts of kindness are teetering on the brink of obsolescence. That is why, TypeCampus launched the the Fight for Kindness campaign, designed to mark the World Kindness Day celebrated annually on November 13th. This initiative, now in its second year, is a clarion call to the design community worldwide to illuminate the power of kindness through the medium of typography.
A guest selection was also introduced in the 2023 edition – A group of exceptionally talented designers, including Tina Touli, David Jon Walker, Martyna Wedzicka, Oriana Gaeta, and Leonardo Betti known for their expertise in design and typography, joined the movement. The influence of these renowned designers broadens the campaign's reach and amplifies its impact.
This campaign culminated with 6 multi-location, exhibitions from Milan to Los Angeles, Sofia, Rome, Budapest, and Leamington Spa. Finally, an annual was released in December – Posters For Humankind – featuring articles written by the team, artworks of over 180 participating visual artists, and a lookbook of the latest typefaces by Zetafonts. The e-book is available to download for free or a physical print-on-demand copy, sold only at printing costs can be purchased from Amazon.com
The non-profit project is sponsored by the Italian type foundry Zetafonts together with notable partners like Print Magazine, Type01, Typeroom, C2A, Indigo Awards, Communication Arts, You Creative Media, DNA Paris, People of Print, D&AD, The District, Farmani Group, ADCI, Art Directors Club of Europe (now part of The One Club).
